This wiki describes and explains Quizcover, a forthcoming, innovative trivia game app for iOS (also announced for Android, coming 2018).
Structure of This Wiki
Quizcover's main design goal was and remains "more depth, not more complexity". There's a lot to discover in Quizcover, but none of it is hard to figure out.
In order to keep things as simple as possible, this wiki breaks down Quizcover's broad and diverse functionality into the following sections: Question Cycle, Question Types, Topics, Streaks, Rankings & Duels, Achievements & Records, Boosters & Retries, Other Features.
Wiki Sections
- Question Cycle: Before and after each question, Quizcover brings up certain screens that provide information that can enhance your gameplay experience. You can alternatively cut things short by double-tapping.
- Question Types: The first noticeable difference between Quizcover and certain popular trivia game apps is that it comes with multiple question types. The related wiki section explains their logic, how the game evaluates your input, and how you can use boosters on them.
- Topics: Quizcover also handles topics in a way distinct from other trivia games. Whenever you play a Quizcover question, you score "Overall" points. Most of the time you also score in one or more topics such as History or Sports. Quizcover distinguishes between genuine topics and cross-topics.
- Streaks: If you score at least one point on each of three questions in a row, you have a streak going. If you score the total number of winnable points available on three questions in a row, you're on a superstreak. Your best streak and superstreak in each topic (including "Overall") are saved.
